Another stage in a special Life

I have just spend the last 10 minutes on the phone with my darling daughters school in tears. My little girl is a little girl no longer - I shall just say that she has reached "that" age!! OMG where have the years gone?? My first concern was "how is she - is she panicking - is she scared??" I am delighted to say that the marvel that she is is actually great - coped extremely well and her only concern was .................. wait for it................ her underwear............ she had on her favourite pink spotty boy shorts.......... guess who is taking her big girl shopping tonight for underwear and a wee treat - oh and of course a visit to boots to stock pile. I was terrified at this happening but I should really have known better not to worry about her ... she is a star really she is.

Well off to get ready for her coming in from school..
