6 YEARS AGO TODAY!
The pictures at the side are of Graham and the kids with Sparklers - this is a huge milestone for our family as Drew is terrified of Fireworks !!
6 years ago I married my wonderful now Husband Graham... We have had some really rough times and I am proud to say that we are putting them behind us and getting back to what we always were... happy! No outside influences anymore to dictate where/how I spend my time!! He has spoilt me this year by buying me a crazy little puter thingy that tells me where I am/should be/going to! in other words he has bought me a sat nav system that also tells me where speed camera's are! Now that is a blessing - I have had two speeding tickets and definitely don't want any more!! He also bought me the most gorgeous pyjamas. I had spotted them when we were out shopping the other day and I was huffy as I wanted jammas... lol... typical he bought them for me and I felt bad for being a huffy cow! I don't have much of my own money so poor hubband never got a lot from me.. I bought him a lovely shirt and the new meatloaf cd and of course had to buy him Jeremy Clarkson DVD - he just loves all that kind of stuff. Feel bad that did not get him a lot but he really does not care bout stuff like that. He is so kind and thoughtful at times I feel unworthy!
Poor hubband has had to work today therefore I have not given him his card or pressies yet. Hoping that he is home shortly so we can spend some long awaited time together. I love the weekends as they have always been time for us, over the last couple of months I let all that slide for other people and now realise that family has to come first as they are the people you can rely on and will always be there no matter what. It has been a hard lesson to learn with many painful parts.
I am off now to spend the rest of the day with my boys - we are off shopping and then out for a nice dinner together. Such joy and happiness - I cannot ask for more. I hope you are all at peace and are happy. I am!!
